After founding his initial brand, Chatillon Lux, perfumer Shawn Maher (a finalist and also an honorable mention for the Art and Olfaction Awardds) had a desire to create perfumes that weren't restricted by a brand structure, budgets or expectations. The result was his eponymous perfume house, Maher Olfactive. Plainly, olfactory art for art's sake. Each perfume is inspired by art, life, and carefully curated materials.
