FUMED is here to bring those creators and the people who love their work into the same room. For us, indie perfume is about more than just smelling good. It’s about supporting the humans behind the bottles and celebrating the art form. In a world of mass-marketed scents, we’re choosing the handmade, the intentional, and the unique.

For a long time, the world of perfume felt like a members only club. The way things were made and the materials used were kept under lock and key. But over the last 20 years, that gatekeeping has finally started to crumble.

We love that the community is sharing information more than ever, and we want to keep that momentum going. FUMED isn’t just a place to shop. It’s a place to learn. We host hands-on workshops and partner with folks who can help you dive deeper into the craft, whether you're a seasoned perfumer or just starting to learn your way around the materials.

FUMED is a pretense-free zone. We’re not here to be competitive or exclusionary. We expect everyone, vendors and attendees alike, to bring positive energy and kindness. Whether you’re a total fragrance nerd or someone who just wants to find a scent that doesn't smell like a shopping mall, you are welcome here.

Meet the Founder.

FUMED was started by Kyle Mott-Kannenberg, a professional perfumer and the founder of OSM Perfume.

Kyle lives and breathes the indie world. He spends his days compounding original, handmade formulas in his studio, so he knows firsthand how much heart and soul goes into every small-batch bottle. He created FUMED because he wanted a space where independent makers could truly connect with people who value the craft as much as they do. He’s a big believer that when we share knowledge and support one another, the whole community smells a little better.
